Recommended applications: Extremely high-pressure, high-impulse abrasive applications. Compatible with standard petroleum-based fluids as well as biodegradable hydraulic fluids such as polyester, polyglycol and vegetable oil.
Exceeds ISO 18752 350DC, SAE 100R13, EN856 R13 and ISO 3862 R13 performance criteria; sizes -10 and -12.
MXG™ 5K is rated to 1,000,000 impulse cycles with GlobalSpiral™ (5000 psi working pressure, 133% test pressure, 250°F/121°C temperature) and to 600,000 impulse cycles with MegaCrimp™, exceeding industry standards for longevity in the factory or in the field.
The Gates® XtraTuff™ Plus cover comes standard on MXG and provides abrasion and ozone resistance.
Can be used with GlobalSpiral™ Couplings [G20 Series] and MegaCrimp™ Couplings [G25 Series] (-6 and -8 only).

Impulse tested to the same parameters as the Gates EFG5K spiral hose (pressure, temperature and bend radius).
